If you want to look like an expert in your industry, this is your package. Write ten articles that might be of interest to the public on any subject from your field of expertise. Properly tagged for search engine robots, these articles will attract people to your blog quicker than you can imagine. Include a link to accept PayPal for your services and you’ve got a storefront.

Here’s the deal;

1. You must be computer literate;
2. You must be somewhat familiar with how to use Microsoft Word or similar software;
3. You must have an email account;
4. If you want to sell something, you must open a PayPal account; and,
5. You must be able to produce a good amount of the content prior to our training session.

For $300, payable in advance, you can choose from many attractive design templates. You’ll get:

• Handsome customized website
• Contact Us page
• About Us page
• Unlimited posts (posts are similar to pages and show up in your menus like pages)
• 90 minutes of training on how to use WordPress from the browser window on any computer: I’ll show you how to add your articles (called Posts in the blog world) and Tag them correctly to be picked up by search engine robots; how to add images and YouTube videos to your posts and pages; and we’ll go over how to format your text to make the content look terrific, such as how add block quotes and make lists. We’ll only have time for an overview, but if you’re comfortable with Word, an overview will be enough to get you going in the right direction. You can teach yourself the rest using online help.
• Use WordPress.com for free web service, or I can host your site here for $60 a year.

• Add advertising: $60 and up – I will train you how to manage it.
• I do video post-production if you have video footage that needs edited. Then I can post it on YouTube for you. Price varies per project.
• I can take photos if you need them. Price varies per project
• I can design new business cards and/or letterhead for you that match your custom website graphics. Inexpensive printing is available online; if I upload your graphics to Staples, they’ll even mail the cards to your doorstep free.

The $300 site requires updated and impeccably maintained WordPress, PHP and MySQL software, so I prefer to host this type of site on our server. We can host your site here for $60 a year, which is $5 a month. Even GoDaddy can’t do better than that.

If you are not up to personally maintaining your own site, I will be happy to take care of these things for you for reasonable compensation.
